What Are Affirmation Boards And How You Can Create One Today

Affirmation boards to help you visualize what you want to attract into your life

Whether you are new to the law of attraction, or you are a seasoned veteran, incorporating affirmation boards can be a great tool to help with manifestation. If you are not familiar with the law of attraction, it is the belief that “like attracts like.” So, in essence, what you focus on expands. Therefore, if you focus on positive things, you will attract more positivity into your life. The same goes for negative thoughts. If you constantly think about things you don’t want, you will attract more of those things into your life.

Affirmation Vision Boards

One way to help focus on the positive is to create an affirmation board. An affirmation board is a visual representation of what you want to attract into your life. It can be anything from a physical board that you hang on your wall, to a digital board that you keep on your computer or phone. You fill this board with images that represent your desires, selecting only the pictures that truly invoke emotion when you look at them. You will use this board to help you visualize what you are trying to bring into your life and along with using affirmations, you will be shocked how powerful the results can be.

Create an affirmation board:

To create a physical affirmation board, you will need some supplies. First, you will need a board. This can be any type of board, such as a corkboard, foam board, or even just a piece of poster board. Once you have your blank canvas, you will need something to attach your affirmations to the board. This can be done with push pins, tape, or glue.

Now it’s time to start gathering your visual representations (pictures). These can be found anywhere, such as in magazines, online, or even just things you write yourself — I like to use Pintrest and physical magazine so I can feel the paper on my hands and identify what strikes me. Once you have a nice selection of pictures and/or phrases, it’s time to start attaching them to your board.

There is no wrong way to do this. You can arrange them however you like, and you can even change them out as often as you want. Take your tape or glue and secure your pictures to your board. The important thing is that you take a few moments each day to look at your affirmation board and visualize what you want to attract into your life.

In addition to your affirmation board, you can synergize your efforts by incorporating affirmations

Here are 10 examples of affirmations you can use with your newly crafted vision board:

-I am healthy and happy.

-I am surrounded by love and positivity.

-I attract wealth and abundance into my life.

-I am confident and successful in my career.

-I am always learning and growing.

-I am deserving of attracting the perfect soul mate.

-I live each day to the fullest.

-I am kind, patient, and forgiving and in exchange, I attract these attributes in others.

-I love myself unconditionally and am deserving of love.

-My dreams are coming true every day.

How to use affirmations

Once you have chosen some affirmations that align with what you are looking to bring into your life, you need to get into the habit of saying them a few times a day. Start by setting a phone reminder for morning, noon and night. When the alarm goes off, take a few deep breathes and then recite your affirmations out loud (or in your head if you are in a public place). The key is to say them with conviction and really believe what you are saying. The more you recite them, the better they will become ingrained in your subconscious brain and the faster you will see results.

When it comes to attracting what you want in life, using affirmations and vision boards are a powerful combination. So, get creative, have fun, and watch as your life begins to change for the better!
